What a great title for soliciting feedback and blog traffic! The article makes a good point though — focusing on usability (alone) is operational, not creative… not design. (I have a best-practices checklist that I review when we create new designs.) I just hope that the title doesn’t lead to misinterpretation of the importance of usability.
Usability is not design — usability is testing designs and making sure that they satisfy certain criteria.
